We will accomplish this by continuing to provide videocoverage of many county meetings, both live and on-demand, but also by producing a new slate of locally produced programsfocused on Beaufort County and its communities. The department also provides audio/visual assistance across the county,including but not limited to, Disabilities and Special Needs Department (DSN), the Libraries, the County Courthouse andassist with the EMD during emergencies. In addition to services within the county, we also provide service to areamunicipalities, which generates revenue within the department.Performance MeasuresMedia & Connections has nine (9) full-time employees. We serve three (3) cable companies with. We use analytics fromvarious platforms including Swagit, YouTube and Facebook to evaluate our performance. The audience is growing.Budget Highlights and Special NotesThe Media & Connections Department budget has grown to support the expanded needs and vision as stated. Professionalservices have increased, and we have added facilities supported by the department. As a result, the department has receivedallocated funds to support new sta, updated equipment and replacing old infrastructure.
