The duties and responsibilities asthe Auditor for Beaufort County are regulated by the SC Department of Revenue. A specic listing of those duties can be found in Title 12,Chapter 39 of the Code of Laws.There are eighteen (18) full-time sta members employed within this department. Their primary responsibilities are to keep the countysrecords of real and personal property and to calculate individual property taxes.
