Construction Management Operational Changes Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Beaufort County Construction Management Department is operating according to a phased reopening plan.

  • Staff continues following safety protocols; social distancing
  • No public access to buildings
  • Approved staff (5) continue to remain in office
  • Prepare office spaces for staff returning to work
  • Prepare buildings for opening to public
  • Continue following safety protocols for vehicle usage
Beginning June 1:
  • All staff return to work
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Wear PPE if within six feet
  • No public access to buildings
  • Continue following safety protocols for vehicle usage
Beginning June 15:
  • Buildings open to public with controlled access
  • All visitors will be provided with masks and gloves
  • Visitors are required to make an appointment
  • Staff must wear masks and gloves if riding in a vehicle with more than one person
