County Council Member Thomas Reitz (District 11) is hosting a community meeting to discuss stormwater management and drainage in Bay Pines.

The meeting will be Thursday, October 23, 6 p.m., at the Hilton Head Island Branch Library, 11 Beach City Rd (map).

This meeting will be an open forum to discuss and answer questions on many topics, including:

• community opportunity for questions and answers for all communities and concerns with stormwater-drainage issues
• Tide Point fence restoration
• barrier protections related to property privacy concerns
• project update on Bay Pine stormwater management and drainage
• Bradley Circle – Sandy Beach Trail update
• Oak Marsh update
