The Zoning Board of Appeals hears and decides appeals by an aggrieved party where it is alleged that there is an error in an order, requirement, decision, or determination made by the Community Development Director or other county officials in the enforcement of the Community Development Code.

To hear and decide requests for variances from the requirements of the Community Development Code.

To hear, consider, and approve or disapprove applications for Special Use Permits.

• Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. 
• Meetings last approximately two hours.
• Meetings are held in Council Chambers  Administration Building, Beaufort County Government Robert Smalls Complex, 100 Ribaut Road, Beaufort. * Due to Covid-19, meeting location is subject to change*
