Beaufort County daytime road resurfacing continues, weather and schedule permitting. Beginning Monday, road work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in the Beaufort area.

The schedule is as follows:

• Monday-Wednesday Storyteller Road
• Wednesday-Storyteller Road, Ice House Road
• Thursday-Ice House Road, Brendan Lane
• Friday-Brendan Lane, Kendall Drive

These resurfacing operations are funded by the Beaufort County Transportation Committee.

During construction, lane closures, road cones and signage will be visible to direct traffic safely. Motorists and residents should be prepared for lane closures and are encouraged to use extra caution when approaching work zones.
