Early voting for the June 9 statewide primary begins today, Tuesday, May 26. Early voting runs through Friday, June 5. The statewide primary is Tuesday, June 9.

Early voting centers will be open 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For a list of candidates, a sample ballot can be found here.

Early voting centers are at the following locations:

• Main Voter Registration Office, 15 John Galt Rd., Beaufort (map)
• St Helena Branch Library, 6355 Jonathan Francis Sr. Rd. (map)
• Bluffton Branch Library, 120 Palmetto Way (map)
• USCB Hilton Head, 1 Sand Shark Dr. (map)

Please remember to bring some form of identification. Acceptable forms include:

• South Carolina Driver’s License (does NOT have to be the Real ID)
• ID Card issued by SC DMV to include Concealed weapon’s permit
• Voter Registration Card w/photo
• Federal Military ID to include VA
• United States Passport
  

Primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 9
All voters must vote at their assigned precinct/polling location. Due to various constraints, the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Beaufort County has temporarily relocated several precincts for the upcoming June 9 and June 23 statewide primaries. A complete list of the relocated primary voting locations can be found here.
