County Council Member York Glover (District 3) is hosting a community meeting to give additional updates on the Corners Community Economic Development Project and St. Helena Island being designated an Opportunity Zone

The meeting will be 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, May 18, at St. Helena Branch Library, 6355 Jonathan Francis, Sr. Drive (map).

John O'Toole, Executive Director of Beaufort County Economic Development Corporation will be the guest speaker. 

The Coastal Community Foundation will introduce the consultant that will conduct the feasibility for the Corners Community Economic Development Project. 

The public is encouraged to attend and share ideas and discuss concerns. Community participation is necessary and will help shape the project's and St. Helena Island's future.

More informational meetings will be scheduled and the public notified.
