Beaufort County is beginning roadway repairs on several roads in Beaufort this week.

As part of Beaufort County’s annual roadway resurfacing program funded by the County Transportation Committee, in preparation for microsurfacing, the County will begin crack sealing various roads beginning Wednesday, April 8. Microsurfacing is expected to begin Monday, April 20.

Contractors ask that residents please refrain from parking in the street during the time of operations. This will be a day-time activity between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. These are target dates and may be delayed or advanced due to weather and field conditions.

Flaggers will be in each work zone so motorists are asked to travel with caution.

The following roads are scheduled, in order of completion:

  • Ned Court
  • Chipwood Lane
  • High Branch Lane
  • Eighth Avenue
  • Windtree Lane
  • Sutton Court

  • Spearmint Circle
  • Shell Point Recreation Park
