Beaufort County Council Workshop to Discuss Proposed Waterway Ordinance Amendments Monday, April 27

The workshop will be followed by County Council Caucus at 5 p.m., and County Council Meeting at 6 p.m.


Beaufort County Council is holding a workshop at 3 p.m., Monday, April 27, to hear presentations from stakeholders regarding the proposed waterway ordinance amendments. It will be at the Bluffton Branch Library, 120 Palmetto Way (map). The proposed amendments would impact County-owned or maintained docks and landings, piers and parking lots. 

The following groups are scheduled to make presentations:

• Beaufort Kayak Tours
• Lowcountry Waterways Alliance
• Daufuskie Island - Mike Hubbard
• Daufuskie Island Transport
• Mark Pandzich, Cory Cunningham, Megan McLaughlin
