The second in a series of three Beaufort County Council Budget Workshops was held Monday morning. County Council received another budget update from County Chief Financial Officer Pinky Harriott and then saw presentations from several more outside agencies.  

The budget workshop began with a brief presentation about the 2027 Budget Preparation update from County CFO Pinky Harriott. 

Outside Agency Budget Request Presentations were next.

• Lowcountry Council of Governments
• Beaufort Memorial Hospital
• Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services
• Technical College of the Lowcountry
• University of South Carolina Beaufort
• Beaufort Convention and Visitors Bureau
• Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce

The final budget workshop is scheduled for 9 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, County Council Chambers, 100 Ribaut Road (map).
