Beaufort County Council Meetings
The Community Service and Public Safety Committee and Natural Resources Committee meetings will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Please visit our website for the latest on meeting locations, times, and agendas.
Beaufort County Convenience Centers
All Beaufort County Convenience Centers will reopen Tuesday, February 3.
Daufuskie Island--Lowcountry Ferry Service
Please visit lowcoferry.com for the latest updates. Ferry runs are subject to the Captain’s discretion for the safety of passengers and crew.
County Airports
Air travelers are encouraged to download their respective airline apps on their mobile devices and to enable notifications so they are sure to receive the latest official word from their airline. Travelers are encouraged to check their airlines for waivers, as well. Inquiries regarding flight information should be directed to the individual carriers. Operating schedules at both airports are subject to weather conditions.

Warming Shelters
- Sea Island Presbyterian Church, 81 Lady’s Island Dr, Beaufort, has opened their cold weather shelter for the whole day today, February 2. The Cold Weather Shelter will close Tuesday morning at 8:00 am.
- Dinner, showers, and breakfast provided.
- Weapons, alcohol, drugs, smoking, and pets are not permitted.
- Service animals are allowed.
