Subscribers need to re-register to continue to receive fraud alerts

The Beaufort County Register of Deeds recently upgraded their software system which includes a new search site and real property fraud alert services. Launched today, the new system does require subscribers to fraud alerts to re-register: if you were subscribed to the previous alert system and have received an e-mail from NEUMO, please be assured this is a legitimate site. Please proceed in re-enrolling in the property fraud alert.

To set up new property alerts, subscribers will register on the new website and create a property alert profile.

Please go to Beaufort County Search Site

  • Click Register in menu bar. Enter your name, email and create a password. If you already have a login for a Cloud Search site, click Sign-In

  • Verify your email address via the email from Vanguard Support

  • Once signed in, click Property Alerts in the header to proceed to create a new alert.  Follow the instructions/links to finish setting up the alert.

There are two ways for a registered user to set up a property alert:
    • Enter a keyword/phrase(s),
    • or find a document and select index data for your alert

An email will be sent to the address used to register when any document is recorded that matches the profile/criteria. Documents can be reviewed by clicking the link in the email. If you do not know what the document is, please call the office at 843-255-2555.

Click the flyer above for additional instructions for signing up. On-line Live Help is available for technical questions.
