Beaufort County Planning Department together with Lowcountry Council of Governments (LCOG) are inviting the public to review the proposed Northern Beaufort Transit Master Plan and provide feedback.

Community input will be accepted through Wednesday, December 31.

The Transit Master Plan helps identify and address public transportation needs and will help planners, government officials and other stakeholders evaluate transit service strategies and provide short term and long term recommendations.

Through input from public events, informational forums, surveys and social media, planners have put together results and developed goals for the Transit Master Plan including:

• enhancing the quality of life and local environment
• accessibility for all County residents
• supporting economic growth and development
• make sure all transit service is safe and secure
• keep it efficient and financially sound
