Beaufort County Public Works is offering several workshops entitled "Go Green" that will help increase environmental awareness in residents' daily lives. 

Workshops include Composting 101, Zero Waste Tie Dye, Stormwater 101, and Recycling 101. All workshops will be held at Beaufort County Library branches. Workshops are clearly listed as appropriate for children, adults or open for all ages.

The Composting 101 workshop will be held Friday, October 17, at 10 a.m., at the Beaufort Downtown Library Branch, 311 Scott Street (map).

All workshops are free of charge and open to the public.
