“It’s amazing to see the Beaufort County Broadcast Team excel in a nationally competitive programming arena to bring home not one, but five Telly Awards,” said Vincent Virga, County Broadcast Director. “This success is on top of covering almost 500 government meetings, 10 graduations for local high schools, USCB and TCL commencements, town parades, and dozens of other events each year, all broadcast live. It’s a true team effort, and we hope you’ll join us in congratulating the entire Beaufort County Broadcast Team.”

BCTV can be found on cable channels Hargray - channel 9 and 417; Comcast - channel 2; Spectrum - channel 1304. BCTV also streams live on www.BeaufortCounty.tv and through the FREE BCTV APP available on ROKU, Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire.

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens. Founded in 1979 to honor local, regional and cable television commercials, with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after, the award has evolved with the rise of digital video to include branded content, documentary, social media, immersive and more. The Telly Awards today celebrates the best work in the video medium in an exciting new era of the moving image on and offline.
