BCTV Debuts New Podcast Series Beaufort Book Talk

Beaufort Book Talk is a podcast series that showcases everything the Beaufort County Library System has to offer. Each episode will be hosted by BCTV's own Chloe Gee and will have rotating panelists throughout the series. Learn about books, events, resources, and more each week.
The first episode of Beaufort Book Talk premieres Thursday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. on BCTV, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, wherever you get your favorite podcasts, and BCTV’s YouTube channel.
The first episode of Beaufort Book Talk features panelists Amanda Dickman and Traci Cox. Amanda is the Beaufort County Library Director and has been with the County library system since 2007. Traci is the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Beaufort County Library system, and has been with library system since 2008.
Chloe, Amanda, and Traci will introduce the podcast, some summer reading ideas, library initiatives, and more.

Chloe Gee attended Ohio University and has completed her Master's Degree in Communications as well as two specialized certificates in Digital Media Transformation and Innovation as well as Communications for Professionals. Chloe has worked for Beaufort County TV for two years as a Social Media Content Specialist.
As a Content Specialist, Miss Gee has worked on many projects including a sports show called Lowcountry All Stars, as well as various festivals, tournaments and special events around the County.
Cassie Headden is a native of Walterboro, South Carolina with over six years of experience in television production. She earned her B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of South Carolina Beaufort and her M.A. in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design at Clemson University.
Cassie has spent the past two years working as a Production Specialist for Beaufort County, where she has produced several original series, including Coastal Creatives, Festive Beaufort, and Sea Island Spirits. Beaufort Book Talk is her first podcast project and marks the beginning of a broader initiative to expand the county's audio storytelling efforts.
