Nexus Care of Beaufort County will be offering free Naloxone, harm reduction supplies, and at home safe drug disposal kits to any member of the public Tuesday, April 29, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., at both locations:

• Bluffton-4818 Bluffton Parkway (map)
• Beaufort-1905 Duke Street (map)

Stop by either location anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. if you are interested in a 5 minute training. The training helps people understand how to identify the signs of opioid poisoning and how to help someone who may be exposed to opioid toxification or illicit contamination.

This event is in honor of National Fentanyl Awareness Day and in memory of the 17 Beaufort County citizens who lost their lives to fentanyl poisoning in 2024.

No appointment is required at either location.
