Dominion Energy Update
Dominion Energy is prepared and responding to Hurricane Ian.  Our crews have begun damage assessment and restoration and will continue as long as it’s safe to do so.    The majority of Beaufort County’s outages are on Daufuskie Island.  Restoration cannot begin on Daufuskie until it is safe to run our boats to the island.

Trees and tree limbs are the #1 reason for outages across our system.  Check out this link to monitor outages in your community:

https://outagemap.dominionenergysc.com/  (New feature – you can sort outages by zipcode on our outage maps.)

For external communications, remind citizens to stay away from downed power lines.  Always assume downed power lines are energized and dangerous.  Report any downed lines to 1-888-333-4465.
