The SC Stay Plus pandemic-related rent relief program continues to take applications from Beaufort County residents struggling with back rent and utility payments due to pandemic-related financial instability. SC Stay Plus provides payments directly to landlords and utility companies.

Residents can sign up online or visit any Beaufort County Branch Library which is offering free public access to computers, free Wi-Fi and informational flyers about the SC Stay Plus program.

“As a valued community resource, the Beaufort County Library exists to connect residents to a wide variety of resources,” said Amanda Dickman, Beaufort County Library Director.  “With five branch libraries uniquely positioned across the County, residents have reliable access to computers, Wi-Fi, and general information about the SC Stay Plus program.”

The Beaufort County Library System is comprised of five branch libraries and two Bookmobiles offering information and resources that foster learning, community, and literacy.  Please visit www.beaufortcountylibrary.org for a complete list of locations, hours and services available.
