Beaufort County is hosting two virtual public meetings beginning Monday, March 15 through Sunday, April 11, to present the proposed design for two priority pathway and sidewalk projects as approved in the 2018 One Cent Sales Tax Referendum. This is the second public meeting for both projects.

Bluffton Parkway Pathway Virtual Public Meeting
The proposed 8’ pathway connects the existing pathways on Bluffton Parkway from Bluffton Road roundabout to Soperton Drive. The pathway improves pedestrian and bicyclist safety by allowing an individual to remain on the pathway without crossing at the Soperton Drive unsignalized intersection.

Ribaut Road Sidewalk Virtual Public Meeting
A new 5’ sidewalk is proposed from Lenora Drive to the existing sidewalk near Rahn Lane. The sidewalk provides access to Lenora Park and the future extension of the Spanish Moss Trail.

The virtual public meetings present the proposed plans and include a video explaining each project.

Visit www.beaufortcountypenny.com/meetings/ to participate in both meetings and submit your comments on the projects by Sunday, April 11.
