Beaufort County US 21 Corridor Project Virtual Public Meeting

Beaufort County is hosting a virtual public meeting from February 8 through March 7, to reintroduce the US 21 Corridor Project as developed in the 2017 Lady’s Island Corridor Study and as approved in the 2018 One Cent Sales Tax Referendum. The project involves improvements to US 21 Bus/US 21 (Sea Island Parkway), US 21 (Lady’s Island Dr), and SC 802 (Sam’s Point Rd).

A virtual townhall will also be held February 18 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be carried live on The County Channel, Comcast Channel 2, Hargray Channels 9 and 113, and Spectrum Channel 1304, or by a link on the website. 

The virtual townhall will include a brief presentation and question and answer session.  Registration is required by February 16 for those citizens who would like to make a comment during the question and answer session. Following the meeting, a recording will be posted on the virtual public meeting site.

Citizens are encouraged to visit the virtual public meeting and provide comments on the proposed improvements by completing the form provided on the website. Submit your comments on the US 21 Corridor Project by March 7.
