City of Beaufort to Close Segment of Spanish Moss Trail August 31 for Mossy Oaks Drainage Project

The City of Beaufort announced the Spanish Moss Trail between Rogers Drive and Broome Lane will close August 31 to pedestrians and cyclists as the Mossy Oaks Stormwater Drainage Project begins construction.
Detour signs have been posted by Friends of the Spanish Moss Trail to guide people who use the trail.
During construction, residents can expect increased traffic from heavy equipment and drainage installation. The completion date and project updates will be shared on a variety of media platforms including the City of Beaufort’s Facebook page.
