Beaufort County Treasurer Announces 2020 Installment Program Expansion

The Beaufort County Treasurer's Office has extended the Installment Payment Program for mobile homes, residential and commercial real property to all taxpayers. The Installment Payment Program is a pay-in-advance program that allows customers to pay the upcoming year’s taxes ahead of the annual tax bills being issued.
Taxpayers already participating in the program are automatically eligible. Those wishing to join the program may do so by completing the Installment Program application. Pre-payments may be made at any time and in any amount up until October 15, 2020.
Only real property and mobile homes with no prior year delinquent balances are eligible for the Installment Program. Watercraft, vehicles, and other personal property are not eligible.
Customers wishing to opt-out of the program may do so in writing by contacting the Treasurer’s Office prior to October 15, 2020. After that date, any pre-paid funds will be applied to the 2020 annual property tax bill.
