Hilton Head Island Airport to Begin Entrance Redesign Project

Beaufort County’s Hilton Head Island Airport will begin a construction project next week to improve the main entrance on the commercial service side of the airport. The project will include new signage, new landscaping, and installation of a sculpture by a local artist. Work on the project is expected to finish mid-April, weather permitting.
Motorists and residents should be prepared for lane closures and are encouraged to use extra caution when approaching work zones, which will have fluctuating activity times. Parking at the terminal will not be impacted for the duration of the project.
