Local officials, including Beaufort County Council Chairman Stu Rodman and County Administrator Ashley Jacobs, participated in a press conference this morning, Monday, September 2, hosted by Sheriff P.J. Tanner. Participants discussed information the mandatory evacuation currently in effect for Beaufort County and other matters of public safety and storm preparedness related to Hurricane Dorian.
