This week, Beaufort County is beginning roadway repairs and installing concrete curbing in Hilton Head Island, at the corner of Dune Lane and Heron Street [map]. The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15, weather permitting.

With both roads being one-way, residents should plan on using alternate routes. Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution when approaching work zones.
