Birding at Whitehall Park: Land Preservation Nature Program

An hour and half guided walk that focuses on many different species of birds that reside in Beaufort County All programs are FREE to the public, with no registration required.

Whitehall Park is 9.72- acres of upland mixed pine and live oak forest at the base of the Woods Memorial Bridge on Lady's Island, across the Beaufort River from downtown Beaufort and opposite the highway from the Whitehall Boat Ramp.

Beaufort County collaborates with the City of Beaufort, the Open Land Trust, and the Friends of Whitehall Park on park management, maintenance on volunteer opportunities. The City of Beaufort provides maintenance of the property. The Friends of Whitehall Park also work closely with the County and City on volunteer activities and fundraiser.
